Spring Semester OPT Workshops
OISS will be hosting several workshops this Spring for F-1 students planning to graduate this May or August. If you are interested in applying for Optional Practical Training (OPT), please plan to attend a workshop. All dates and times are listed at the link below.
Financial Literacy: How to Avoid Scams
Date: Thursday, February 8
Time: 4:30 - 5:30 pm
Location: Global Union
Financial scams are unfortauntely on the rise, and often target international students. Learn how to identify a scam and what to do if you receive a text/call that you believe is a scam. This session will be presented by a representative from a local Bank of America branch. Coffee and light refreshments will be served!
Join the International Orientation Leader team!
International Orientation Leaders (iOL) serve as guides for the incoming class of international student each Fall. iOLs will participate in spring training that will take place in April, correspond with students over the summer, and then return early in August to assist with airport pick-ups and the International Student Orientation program. Benefits include free shirts, early move-in, and food covered from move-in through Orientation.

Looking for something to do during Spring Break!? Join us for a bus trip to Philadelphia, approximately 90 minutes from Bethlehem. Students are free to spend the day as they wish in Philly. This trip will be rain or shine! Deadline to sign up is Monday, February 26 at 9:00 AM.
