Past Initiatives

The International Student Advisory Board has co-sponsored an International Student Town Hall once per semester on a timely topic.

The inaugural Fall International Student Town Hall took place on Monday, October 28 in Whitaker Auditorium (room 303) at 6:30 PM.  The topic was civic engagement as an international student (and how you fit into the democratic process).  Panelists included Dr. Nathan Urban (Provost), Dr. Cheryl Matherly (VP of International Affairs), and Dr. Brian Fife (Chair of the Department of Political Science), along with other senior leaders.

The Spring International Student Town Hall took place on March 26 from 4:30 - 6:30 PM in Whitaker Auditorium. The topic was International Students & Politics and included panelists from an Immigration Law firm, a Political Science professor, and others.
