Start your college pathway early and get a competitive edge with College Success Academy at Lehigh University. Improve your academic English skills while earning college credit.
This six-week intensive English summer program helps U.S. and international high school students prepare to attend college in the United States. Participants include rising high school seniors, high school graduates in their gap year, and newly admitted college freshmen (ages 16-18).
IMPROVE YOUR ACADEMIC ENGLISH SKILLS
Learn from the language specialists in Lehigh University’s International Center for Academic and Professional English, all of whom have Master’s degrees in TESOL or a related field, and take non-credit courses in academic English language and study skills, like Admissions Testing Preparation, Grammar and Writing or Individual/Group Tutoring.
EARN COLLEGE CREDIT
Take two university courses for transferable credit, such as Composition & Literature, Mathematics or Sociology. These courses fulfill first-year requirements for undergraduate students at Lehigh University and many other U.S. schools. (Credit courses are subject to department availability and may vary from year to year.)
LEARN ABOUT AMERICAN COLLEGE LIFE
Live and learn on the campus of Lehigh University, one of the nation’s premier research universities, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Experience real U.S. university culture, staying in a shared dormitory and eating in the dining halls. And enjoy extracurricular activities like a day trip to historic Philadelphia, a local day trip to a cultural event and events on campus.
