The Iacocca Institute partners with other organizations from around the world to create immersive, intercultural leadership experiences that are customized to local and regional business cultures.
For example, we have worked with our global partner organizations to bring Global Village on the Move, a mobile version of our signature Global Village program, to 10 cities on four continents. And in 2017, Lehigh University is one of the 38 U.S. colleges and universities chosen to host 1,000 Mandela Washington Fellows for the summer. The Iacocca Institute created a six-week Academic and Leadership Institute in Business and Entrepreneurship for 25 of these accomplished young leaders from a wide range of African countries, which included our signature mix of interactive entrepreneurship and design sessions, leadership development and teambuilding, site visits, community service, cultural exchange and a collaborative consulting project.
