"I know Lehigh. That's a great school."

Program Description

In 2004, Lehigh University became the sixth university in the world to gain Non-Governmental Organization status with the United Nations. As a Department of Public Information (DPI) NGO, Lehigh is able to foster unique experiential learning opportunities for its students.

In many ways, the United Nations is our classroom. Each year, more than 1,500 faculty, staff, and students attend UN conferences, DPI briefings, private meetings with Ambassadors and UN officials, and other educational seminars. The Lehigh Univeristy-United Nations Partnership also brings the UN to campus in a variety of ways, ranging from UN-focused curriculum to UN official speakers.
