Maegan is a sophomore at Lehigh University majoring in Environmental Studies with minors in Learning Sciences and Environmental Science. A 2025 Iacocca International Intern in Uganda, she worked under the mentorship of Dr. Kelly Austin as both a lead researcher and a pre-primary assistant teacher. Her work focuses on education and sustainability at the community level, reflecting her passion for connecting environmental learning with social impact.Beyond her academic work, Maegan has cultivated a strong foundation in science, leadership, and creative engagement. She previously conducted microbiome research through George Mason University’s Aspiring Scientist Summer Internship Program and participated in the Sustainability Leadership Academy at Chatham University, where she designed practical solutions for greener cities. At Lehigh, she is involved with Epsilon Delta Pi and the Ultimate Frisbee team.
