Bhangra Zumba | International Affairs

LU Bhangra will be teaching basic bhangra footsteps in a zumba setting. Learn the bhangra dance style.

Loy Krathong: Make & Take | International Affairs

We will be teaching how to make a Krathong, Thai water lantern. Thai people celebrate Loy Krathong day to appreciate the importance of rivers which are essential for agricultural. The date of Loy Krathong day 2019 is November 13th.

Casino Night | International Affairs

2019 Lehigh CSSA Casino night is a fun event opened to all students at Lehigh. The event is completely free. Students will earn chips by playing different games. The event will feature 15 different games. Each of the students will be given a “passport”, and every time they play a game, they will get a stamp on their passport. In order to use their chips to get gifts, they will have to have enough stamps on their passports. During the second half of the event, the players will be able to use their chips to get gifts. We will provide food during the event. We have also invited Helius to perform a dance and a magician to put on an intermission magic show. We are planning to collaborate with more clubs on this event. Since there is no money transaction, there is no gambling, and we have confirmed with the student engagement office.

Represent your country and the international community at the Lehigh Lafayette game and carry a flag onto the field with the marching band. Traditional clothes are strongly encouraged! OISS will provide flags.

Showing award winning Iranian movies with English subtitles to present different aspects of the Iranian culture. This event will show top Iranian movies regarding the culture for people to learn about through its cinema and be more educated about it. Lehigh Biological Sciences in Ireland

Interested in research and studying abroad? Then come to an info session to learn more about the Lehigh in Ireland Summer Study Abroad program! During this program, students travel to The National University of Ireland, Galway for a 6 week summer experience. Students have the opportunity to complete research practicum for 3 credits and to take an Irish Studies course for 3 credits. There are a variety of research practicum topics including, engineering, biology, CSB, design, and social sciences.
