The following email was sent on October 7, 2021 to students considering studying abroad in spring 2022.
Dear Students and Families,
At this time, Spring 2022 semester abroad programming is available. While conditions are improving, the pandemic continues to be a factor that will impact the spring 2022 semester. At this time, per the recommendation of the International Travel Advisory Committee, we will continue to limit our program list to select partners and countries. Lehigh is monitoring worldwide conditions and will keep students and families informed of updates. Programs may be added or removed as we review health, safety and risk considerations. Students should not purchase flights until both Lehigh AND your program have instructed you to do so.
We have created a webpage with information and resources related to Study Abroad during the global pandemic, including information on Risk management and review, vaccination information for study abroad, considerations for programming during the covid-19 pandemic, and status of Spring 2022 programming. Please be sure to review this information carefully.
