Eduardo Rodríguez currently serves as the Administrative Manager and Operations Liaison at the Iacocca Institute. Prior to this, he served as the Executive Director of the Comité Mexicano de Cleveland, OH for 3 years and as Program Manager at the Hispanic Alliance of Cleveland for 5 years. Before moving to Cleveland, he directed global education programs in Mexico and Venezuela for twenty years. Throughout his career, he has been heavily involved in NGO work and has served in volunteer leadership positions with a range of different organizations. For 10 years, he was the President of Amigos de los Animales, an NGO that rescues stray dogs and runs educational and anti-violence campaigns related to animal rights in Mexico. He also served as President of the Lions Club de Guanajuato (Mexico) and Treasurer at El Albergue del Hospital General de Guanajuato (Mexico) a shelter program affiliated with the state hospital. In Cleveland, he formed part of the organizing committees of La Villa Hispana, La Fiesta Latina in the Square, and La Placita; served as a board member at Art House and the Hispanic Liaison for the City of Cleveland; and served as treasurer for the LatinUS Theater Experience Company. He was also an entrepreneur and founder of Café Social, a café focused on Latin American coffee in Cleveland.  A native of Puebla, Mexico, he is committed to working for social change and cross-cultural understanding.
