Betzy Sandoval has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universidad Francisco Marroquin in her home country, Guatemala. She also has a Master’s degree in Behavioral and Computational Economics from Chapman University in Orange County, California, where after working as a research assistant for almost three years she developed an interest in Data Management and Mathematical Modeling. In Guatemala, she taught some core classes in the Economics arena. However, she focused most of her energy on teaching Economics seminars, where she introduced elements of global art and literature to communicate Economic history and concepts. Since her marriage and subsequent relocation to the Lehigh Valley, she has concentrated on the planning and execution of intercultural academic programs.
She enjoys exploring and reading multidisciplinary academic publications, and loves to travel; on each of her travels she appreciates and tries to understand—even in an amateur manner—the impressive offering of art and literature that humanity has gifted us.
