Throughout his career, Mr. Cassidy has navigated complex economic, political, and social development challenges across all regions of the world. He possesses a deep understanding of international relations, particularly within the framework of multilateral organizations such as the UN system, World Bank, and International Monetary Fund.
Currently, he serves as a Partner and Co-Founder at iC One Global, where he advises international businesses on navigating ESG challenges and leveraging them for sustainable growth and competitive advantage. The iC One Global network of professionals develop strategic engagement strategies to enhance the visibility and impact of organizations on critical global issues.
Cassidy also serves as a Consultant to the World Bank analyzing complex development projects from an interdisciplinary approach so governments can advance more effective approaches in resolving difficult economic and social challenges.
Prior to his current role, he served as the Director and Representative to the Bretton Woods and Multilateral Organizations for the International Labour Organization (ILO) in the United States and Canada. In this capacity, he led high-level policy discussions with government officials, legislators, and international financial institutions on issues related to global labor standards and social justice.
His extensive experience includes leading global communications campaigns with local and international media, establishing high-level partnerships, driving policy change negotiating language for UN resolutions and national policy frameworks, advancing labor rights and promoting social justice on a global scale.
