The Global Career Accelerator (GCA) is Lehigh’s framework for helping international students build career readiness, confidence, and a competitive global edge. It brings together the wide range of opportunities already available at Lehigh into clear, flexible pathways that connect education to employability.
The GCA consists of three modular tracks, each designed to strengthen employment readiness through access to targeted resources, structured reflection, and development of key workplace competencies. The tracks focus on intercultural and global career readiness, professional practice through experiential learning, and entrepreneurship, innovation, and global impact. Together, they equip students with the skills and experience needed to succeed in today’s evolving job market.
Whether students plan to work in the U.S. through OPT or CPT, pursue opportunities abroad, or return to their home country, the Global Career Accelerator reflects Lehigh’s ongoing commitment to international student success, during their studies and beyond graduation.
