Model UN

Two levels of Model United Nations (MUN) programs are offered at Lehigh University: one for undergraduate students; the other for high school students.

MUN - Collegiate Level

Lehigh University students travel to competitions at Harvard, Penn and other regional MUN sites annually to compete. The MUN Club, which has been active on campus for many years, is always willing to add new members. For information on Lehigh's Model UN Club, contact President Kiernan McGinnis at kjm216@lehigh.edu

MUN - High School Level

More than 300 high school students from the greater Lehigh Valley and New Jersey attend a MUN at Lehigh University each spring. Lehigh will host the annual high school Model UN Conference on Friday, March 18, 2016.  Contact Dr. Sarah Wascura for all the details:  wascuras@eastonsd.org

In addition to hosting high school students at the annual MUN competition, the LU/UN Partnership regularly invites students and teachers from local high schools to attend UN video conferences, and presentations by UN officials and Ambassadors held on campus.  Teachers should email Bill Hunter at wdh3@lehigh.edu for more details.
