International English Learning Center

IELC is the computer-based English Learning Center where international students can get professional tutoring help in all areas of English. Based on their needs, students choose the curriculum path they wish to follow. The professional language tutors work one-on-one with the students to guide them through their learning and help them achieve their personal learning goals. Students also participate in group seminars during the semester to practice their skills in front of ESL faculty and students.

To join IELC, students complete an application and choose to study speaking and fluency, writing style and structure, grammar, vocabulary, American conversation, American culture or any other aspects of English that they may wish to improve. The tutors then guide the students through their personal curriculum throughout the semester, which includes direct instruction using written and recorded materials as well as interactive software and web pages.
