Domestic Students

International experiences give students different learning opportunities and allow them to experience other cultures first-hand, making them more competitive in an increasingly global job market. We're committed to providing a variety of experiences and venues to meet the diverse needs of our students. And Lehigh has committed to making international experiences available to all students regardless of their ability to pay. Thanks to these efforts, roughly 40 percent of Lehigh undergrads have an international experience before they graduate.

Study Abroad

With more than 200 program options in more than 60 countries, we have a program to fit every major, schedule and interest area, from 10-day programs over Spring Break to semester- or year-long experiences. All programs are credit bearing and count toward your Lehigh degree.

International Internships

The International Internship for Global Leadership Program provides students with full scholarships to participate in internship, research or practicum experience in organizations around the world. The program provides full-time, non-credit-bearing experiences that run for four to twelve weeks over the summer, allowing for a true cultural immersion.

Lehigh University/United Nations Partnership

Lehigh was only the sixth university in the world to be named a non-governmental organization (NGO) by the United Nations. Thanks to this partnership, our students can represent other NGOs at the UN, attend UN programs, and host international dignitaries on our campus.
